Let's get back to the basics:
1. Get some rest: You may not can take a nap today, but you can take a 5 minute break to count your blessings and thank God. Ask God to give your mind and spirit peace.
2. Ask for prayer: With all that is happening in this world sometimes we feel our burdens are trivial. However, God cares about us and we are called to share each others burdens and pray. Don't be afraid to ask a Christian sister to cover you in prayer.
3. Ask God to show you a verse of encouragement: I have had several verses over the years that have literally carried me through some horrible times. One of my favorites is 2 Timothy 1:7: For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
With God, we can be overcome, live in power and love and a sound mind. Let's press into Christ and His Word.
