On today's "Press On Wednesday", I want to encourage us all to stay focused! We are 3/4's of the way through the month of January. How is your healthy lifestyle changing your life? For some of you, all is going as planned and you are feeling stronger and healthier. However, for others, you may have hit a plateau and do not see much progress. If you are at this plateau stage, it is very important you stay focused on your goal of health. If you are feeling discouraged that you may have messed up or that you are slowly drifting back to old eating and living patterns; time to refocus. Remind yourself why you want to be healthy. Perhaps your new lifestyle change is to avoid Diabetes or other health problems. Maybe it is to model a healthy lifestyle for your children or grandchildren. On the other hand, maybe the doctor said you MUST change the way you are living. Regardless how you came to this point, it's a must for you to stay committed and focused.
I want to encourage you to look for new and creative ways to help promote a healthy lifestyle for yourself and your family. You can join a sports team, try a new workout program, try new unique and healthy recipes, and much more.
