Press On Wednesday : Too Busy

We all have such busy lives; busy with work, home, chores, church, ministry, school, family and unexpected interruptions. So, how do we find time to invest in our health?
One thing I've learned in life, is that we somehow make time for what is important to us. If our health is a priority, we will make time to prepare for healthy meals, exercise, rest, and take care of ourselves.  The Bible tells us that if we are a Child of God, then our body is the Temple of Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19).  I want to encourage you to make your health a priority in your life.  I am not saying to make it top priority, because I believe our relationship with God should have that spot.  However, when we put God first, He can help us put our other priorities in order.
Following are just a few tips to help make your health a priority:
1.  Go to bed 30 minutes earlier than you do now.
2.  Only eat sugar on special occasions or only one day a week.
3.  No caffeine after 4 pm.
4.  Walk 1-2 miles at least 3 times a week.
5.  Have an accountability partner for a healthy lifestyle.
6.  Follow God's plan and obey His will for your life.  (Proverbs 3:7-8)
So, let's all press on and keep making those healthy choices!
