Renewing Your Strength

We have just gotten home from a week-long trip through the Panhandle of Texas and Oklahoma.  We had a wonderful time of ministry and meeting sweet people in the Lord.  However, today, fatigue has set in.  We are back home...back to the laundry....back to the housework....back to the trials of dealing with teens, bills, outside family stress, etc.  On top of that, I have a cold and can barely speak.  So, when I try to talk I "squeak".  My boys find my "squeaking" humorous.  I am SO glad to be home yet feel like I have nothing left to give.  As I spent the day catching up on emails, laundry, paying bills, unpacking....my heart has been crying out to the Lord.  I know that I can't always "feel" great, but I can count on God's Word.  Isaiah 41, verses 28-31, came to my heart., "Do you not know? Have you not heard?  The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.  He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.  He gives STRENGTH TO WEARY, and increases the power of the weak.  Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength, They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint!   THANK YOU LORD, that even though my body is tired....my Spirit in encouraged and my hope is in YOU, Lord!
